People keep goats for all types of reasons.
We started out with goats because I love them and also needed to clear some bush.
They have done a terrific job.
Then we branched out into milkers and stretched to pure breed dairy goats.
Then we had the opportunity to get some miniature goats!
So now we have a mixture!
The hardest time of the year is when the does come into season and making sure that they see the right buck first! So far so good.
Kidding time is always a nerve-racking time but it is so rewarding. It is still amazing to see the birth of a kid. I think I will always treasure those wonderful moments.
Our site will change from time to time so come and visit again!
Now we make Goats Milk Soap with lots of milk and nourishing oils.
